Tilt Legends

Whoa! Where did these paddles come from and why are they here? Who knows! Let's use them! Join Tilt on his adventure to travel the land, save the villages, and beat baddies using the power of momentum!

Tilt Legend is an RPG Pinball game made for Ludum Dare 41.

The game is still in progress.

Some TODOS:
- Currently there is no way of dying or beating the game, so technically you can play the game forever if you want even if you have 0 hp 😎
- Needs more sound effects
- Crashing occurs if the game runs for an extended amount of time
- Fix up and rebalance the world. Some areas are pretty tough to navigate.
- Fix all the bugs
- Polish, polish, polish. Gotta polish those... balls...
- Drink less red bull

Grood idea and pretty fun to play! I'd say it needs a bit of a tweak to the flippers and the HP fix and it'd be great.

Thanks everyone! And yes currently there is no way of dying or beating the game, so you can keep playing even if you have 0 hp. Certainly on the to do list. :)

This is a great combination of genres. It's really cool when you hit the ball off the screen, it zooms out and you move to the next set of paddles. I sort of felt the timing was a bit off on the paddles, but that might've been my browser being slow (or even just me being bad).

I like the gameplay, however the ball is too heavy and the space between the paddles is too big, I'm constantly dying ^^

YES finally I found a game that combined pinball with something!! I really wanted to try and do something similar. It definitely needs more pinball-y sounds. More ding and what not. It would be nice if once you made it to the next set of flippers you respawned there. Getting around that corner was tough

Very cool, and completely in line with the theme. Until I realized you could boost the ball up from nearly anywhere, I got pretty frustrated. I got to a big pink boss guy, but I never seemed to be damaging him, and there was no indication that I was even interacting. I played until my up-finger got tired, and then gave up. I wish there were a better sense of what to do there, or whether I was making progress. Charming art, cool music, well-made, very very cool.

@dob Wow I'm so pleased that you got so far! Yeah unfortunately we ran out of time and didn't quite finish the pink boss guy. Otherwise you certainly would've beat him I'm sure! I'm glad you enjoyed our odd little game.

This game was a lot of fun! I loved the art and the music. And the combined themes were really cool. I got all the way to the purple monster king but I couldn't figure out how to damage him and eventually gave up. I would've loved a checkpoint between the 2nd and 3rd rooms though, because dieing after the 2nd but before you get to the 3rd where the first checkpoint and going all the way back to start was kind of frustrating. Also, a checkpoint once you make it to the purple boss king's area would've been nice so I didn't keep having to climb up north back to his area. Also, I'm glad that you don't die when your hp reaches zero because I never would've made it past the first room. I must have died over a hundred times while playing. But otherwise an awesome fun little game! Great job everyone.

Nice work - interesting mechanics. It's very nice that you added some new abilities and items as you go through the game.
The recommendations - some polish of physics and interaction with enemies needed. And maybe it's a good idea to add more interactive items with different reactions like trampolines, portals, etc.
