BlockDrop is a physics based high-score, arcade like game where you have to click on blocks to destroy them before they reach the top of the screen. Try not to Run Out of Space ;)
The Controls are easy, just click (or press space) to destroy any blocks that fall. Also, if there are power-up blocks (only in Pain mode) click them for some fun explosions or blackholes! (Notes: On the main menu you click on the block next to the words to select that game mode.)
I find the way the tiny cubes fall and interact very satisfying. Pain mode ramped up really fast! I like that you found the time to get creative with the menu screen as well.
Definitely preferred Pain mode. I think that should be the default. The power ups were fun to experience and necessary sometimes when the space would be too full. More power ups would have been exciting to play with, and perhaps an ultimate click or auto-click that could be used after x-amount of blocks were destroyed.
This game takes a classic and puts a great twist on it. Great job. You stuck to the theme well I love the different modes. This would be a great Time killer.
The splitting of the boxes is very satisfying, the special cubes are very cool. The sound is really nice, i like the flute-like sound of the purple power up.
