Crash·Data
In Crash·Data you play as a cursor inside what appears to be an 80's computer. Your mission is to stop the viruses trying to corrupt the system as they fall from the top of the screen.
The player must shoot to destroy the viruses and to re-arrange the files that will fall from above, accumulating at the bottom of the screen. The game ends when the maximum corruption level has been reached.
CONTROLS (Controller):
Left Joystick - Move
Right Joystick - Aim and Shoot
Start - Pause
X/A - Select
CONTROLS (Keyboard):
W/A/S/D - Move
Mouse - Aim and Shoot
Esc/P - Pause
Left Click - Select
Crash·Data has an online leaderboard system. Compete against players all around the globe and get the highest score!

@bronydell First of all, thanks for your review :') It's much appreciated. As for losing by getting stuck in files, we wanted it to be this way, actually. The player has to avoid this situation. However, if they get stuck, a Permanently Delete window can appear if the player's lucky :')

I had quite some fun playing the game. The controls are kinda unsual, but fine after a bit of adaption to them. Overall a solid entry.

Hahah, it is an ultra fun game. But the bugs could affect the disks and files and mark them as "cannot be deleted" for a while :)

Love the old Macintosh aesthetic! It was implemented perfectly.
The game plays really well and is really fun, a definitive standout! Only one thing bothers me, though: the permanently delete window is (or at least appears to be) completely random. So whether or not it is useful is up to the RNGods. Maybe having it as a power-up, rather than just randomly appearing somewhere random? Or letting us move the window somehow?
In any case, amazing entry!

I had really fun playing this game, I liked the mood and feel, and it was a clever way to tackle the theme in a fun and interesting way:)

@jsmcag Thank you for your review, I'm glad you liked our game! Yes, it's exactly as you noticed, the delete box position is random, even though it appears at a 30 second interval. Maybe what we could do is to reduce the area where it can spawn so it sticks more to the bottom, where the majority of files are.

Great game! Love the aesthetics and was really fun to play. Played several times (had to get on that leaderboard) and it only got better. Feels like a complete game so Would be interesting to see what you might have added given more time.

I had a lot of fun, I loved the graphics and music. It felt a bit slow at first but then all the files started piling up and it got chaotic. I got stuck under some files at the end and slowly watched as the screen got fuzzy while I waited for the Delete window to appear around me. Great work on the game!

Nice game, I just didn't like the movement, it has too much acceleration.

@gord10ahmet We've also had some issues regarding the movement during development. Sometimes it just accelerates too much, and we honestly don't know why. Could that be the case? We will look forward to solve this.

You didn't code the movement FPS dependent, rather than delta times, did you? That's the first thing that came to my mind.

Holy hectic mother of god. This is amazing! So fast paced (refreshing from what I've been playing lately [and ours]). The controls are "weird" in a good way. Once it clicked i was like, "OHH that's why!" which is basically after the first few things start spawning. Great art style too. My only nitpick is, sometimes the files stop in mid air... which seems random... not sure why. I'm guessing its a bug cause it happens rare enough, but it was common enough that it could be a feature.... or was it.... A VIRUS! *dun dun duuunnnn*

Great game. Computer-related games are popular this LD. I never knew how hard a cursor's life is. Really dig the graphics and the music was awesome! This is a good and interesting take on the theme.

This is a really nice entry.
Liked the simple yet effective graphics and sounds, which worked very well for the experience the game provides. Also, the mechanics are easy to understand, making the game very accessible.

Totally had a blast with this one! The aesthethic was great too! I gave it a few goes before giving up on that wave of big yellow viruses. (my favourite virus concept was the trojan, had a good laugh when I understood it, hahah)
My only complaint is that I couldn't move the Delete window by dragging it like a normal window. Feels too random like that. Also, a meter, bar or something to indicate corruption more accurately would be more than welcome for me.

The game over error screen, with sound, was really awesome! Also, I had to facepalm myself because at first I didn't notice those things inside the files were trojan horses, hahaha.

But web build freezed the tab and I had to download the Windows version. Windows version works great.
P.S. I've lost because I stuck in file, I don't think that this is how it supposed to be
