The universe is being consumed by a massive black hole, but there is a portal nearby. Scientists don't know anything about it, but it's the only option to survive this collapse. - PLEASE FINISH IT AT LEAST ONCE BEFORE RATING IT, BECAUSE IT'S A STORY-BASED GAME! THANK YOU!
CONTROLS: - W/S or arrow keys: Move - Left click: press button - Mouse wheel: interact with difficulty button - Esc: skip intro/outro, return to main menu! Screenshot
It felt a little slow at the beginning, I don't know if it's supposed to be that slow at 100% difficulty. But besides that nice game! I like the music.
@santaclausnl well, 100% doesn't mean it's the hardest difficulty. The hardest one is 300% :D. But yeah, it's meant to be a bit slower at the beginning. And thanks for the feedback!
I think the beginning is really boring and it´s kinda annoying that you have to start completely from the beginning if you do one little mistake. The game would have been much more fun if you would had 3 lives and the beginning would´nt be starting so boring. Or if you wouldn´t start completely from the beginning if you do one mistake. But anyway nice game :)
@nishinoya Even on 300 % is the beginning a little bit of boring. And if the beginning of the game is any interesting challenge, then you would´nt had a chance to beat the game. I think the difficulty curve is a little bit strange. But that would´nt been that important if you would´nt had to start completely from the beginning if you fail. Anyway I really like the idea with changing the difficulty but because of the things I said doesn´t solve the changing difficulty all problems. I hope you understand what i want to say P.S You wanted an honest opinion :D
The effect of the old TV, I almost went crazy. The controls are very awkward, the character works long before you change direction. It is not clear why the hero runs around the ball, it was possible to make a flat room. In General the game is really a trip of an addict who has been sniffing glue with the bag over his head and washed down all this with a triple odekolona.
@petra Oh, i can still see it tho :D Anyway, it's okay, i just hope you didn't leave any wrong ratings (that you meant for a different game) or something.
sorry but i have to rate it although i didnt finish it because i died 8 times in a row for a little mistake and i had to restart from the very begining...
However i think i got the idea of gameplay (not the story but i can imagine a twist).
it is smooth and pleasant just not the part where you have to restart when you hit a tiny thing
Nice game. Really liked the music for it and how it fitted with the backgrounds. It was also nice to be able to change the difficulty so I could see the ending, Well done guys
Good game, Music adds so much dept to the game, but when things got a bit fast, music didn't feel appropriate for the pace of the game
also if you are going to keep the mechanics of dying on touch (very punishing), better make a system that uses the current position of the player to generate the obstacles so that it doesn't become impossible to dodge them
apart from that, keep up the great work, Good Job!!!
@adam-saudagar Hmmm... I personally don't see a problem there. I was the one who made the music, and i think the second part of the song represented the depth and mystique of space. But everyone sees it differently, so I understand what you meant with that. And we didn't have enough time to make the spawning of those obstacles so specific (we were only two people and one of them knows nothing about programming- me :D) but i can totally agree with that. Anyway, thanks for your feedback, your honest opinion is very important to us!
Its a little bad when you hit something and get spawned at earlier stage of the game. But other wise its a great idea that uniquely fits the theme. Well done guys^^
Huge WOW there, guys! You turned a simple premise into a compelling ride through space with adaptive difficulty, appealing visuals, fitting music and an interesting story. When the lullaby in the end set in, I seriously got the chills. One slightly negative aspect was the randomness of the obstacles. In some of my attempts, I got away too easily, whereas sometimes the universe really wanted to fuck me up. Great job!
@nishinoya i ment the speed is different at the different stages and when you respawn its soooooo slow (i just wanned to say this becasue i realized how retarded my original comment sounds)
Nice one, guys! Loved the menu and visuals! Although I'd like to say that it was very difficult and a bit annoying to restart the game from the very beginning after touching anything while playing. I think a health bar/force-field would do wonders, then instead of restarting you could at least take some damage before hand. But still - good job!
Really nice game! Starts off a bit too slow but gets very challenging and enjoyable later on. The story reminded me of Interstellar. The mood of the game was communicated very well, I especially liked the titlescreen. Great job!

Okay, we will try your game, too!
