A newly developed city is looking for a company to handle its waste management system. Surprisingly, even though you have no experience they turn to you. Monopolize this industry as you manage your landfills, trucks, population growth and pollution in this filthy tycoon, Landfill Tycoon.
Can you revolutionize the garbage system and develop the first black-hole incinerator? Find out when you play Landfill Tycoon
This game was built from scratch using Python and the pygame library. This is our first Ludum Dare.
All sounds and sprites were made by us except for the following:

Tools:

| Pause | Click this button to pause/unpause the game | |
| Road Tool | When selected drag your mouse to build roads. Roads must be in a straight line to be built | |
| Landfill Tool | When selected drag your mouse to build a landfill. Landfills must be at least 3x3. You can extend current landfills using this tool by building a new one connected to it. | |
| Building Tool | Build buildings to deal with waste in landfills. Buildings must be built adjacent to a landfill. | |
| Delete Tool | When selected, click a tile to bulldoze. Be careful as bulldozing costs money. |
Buildings:
| Icon | Name | Description |

| Incinerator | Cheap and gets the job done! Removes waste from landfill but produces pollution. | |
| Recycling Plant | More expensive than the Incinerator but produces no pollution. | |
| Black Hole Generator | Whatever passes the horizon... never comes back. |
