Cute runner, simple to play, nice simple pixel art! My only issue is the lightning, it's a bit like a strobe light at times haha.

Wow dude that game is awesome ! The graphics, the sound, the game-play like wow ! I freaking love it, it's a little bit hard but it's possible to show some very good skills. I was surprised that we can dash through the spikes, it's make the game way more tricky ;D

Fun particle effects and background! The "quick fall" mechanic and "dash" mechanic add a lot to the Dinosaur Runner game from broken Google Chrome pages. Power ups were spawning inside obstacles pretty frequently for me, you could try a detection system so that they don't overlap. Great game!

Good, challenging runner. The artwork is fantastic and the audio is very fitting. Unfortunately haven't reached 1 km yet.

The whole experience felt very smooth and polished, and once I got used to the dash/float/drop functions it became a very deep game.

Really nice and stylish entry! It is quite hard to master, but the fun is neverending. Great Job!

Saw your game on YourBro0ther's stream. Loved it. Best runner I've played this jam. The art was great, I loved the grayscale.

- I didn't like that tapping forward / back could kill you. I felt like it should cap at the edges
- I also would have put a height threshold on the hover so it wouldn't let you do it 2 inches above the ground (sometimes I would hover rather than jumping when I meant to double jump)

@phearbot I'm not sure i understand the first point (i'm sorry i'm still learning english) , but you're not dying while dashing, you're gonna die if and only if just after the dash you run through a spike
On the second point you're absolutely right, we should have though of that :( i noticed it while playing a little bit more but it was too late

I love the parallax and chunky pixels on the title screen! Nice bloom effect. If I had one complaint, it's that it's too easy to dash on accident when you're just a few frames from the ground and meant to jump instead.

Great game! almost a perfect runner. Controls are tricky in differentiating between floating and jumping. Also, some lower spikes are seemed to low and I didn't register them as an actual spike instead of some level detail.

This game is fantastic. Very challenging. I absolutely love the art style. The audio is on point from the background music, to the subtle sound effects like the small whoosh when pressing down while jumping. Visually this is well put together, between the scrolling layers all the way to the small effects when using dash or down.

There are a couple of things control wise I'd like to point out now that I've completed the game.
* I mentioned on the stream earlier that sometimes when I'd jump, it didn't seem to register. I couldn't figure out why then, but I've found it now. Sometimes, you can trigger the double jump/floating right as you land on the ground. This occurs form pressing up just before landing, which I usually do right in front of a spike where I'm attempting to jump again and can't.
* The dash is pretty much key to winning this. The pickups that are sometimes spawned within the spikes, or extremely close to them make it a necessity. However, there were times where I would time it just wrong and instead I would dash not only through the spike, but through the pickup as well.

Other than these two things, I really enjoyed this game a lot.

Great game, Difficulty was just right, good quality audio and visuals. Could be a game people pick up and come back to every now and then. Good work!!

in the beggining found it hard to get into the flow, perhaps it could have difficulties, so the first runs would be a bit longer.
Controls feel great, the visuals and the audio create a great mood, over all great experience !
