Nodelaya Wings is a game with a space invasion !!! Great fun! The mechanics for this gamejam was to reduce the action space as a penalty to the player! The game is a prototype created in the Ludum Dare 42.

Commands:

SPACE -> Shoot
ARROWS -> Move ship
W, S -> Rotate ship.

I tried to create a complete game, with cutscenes, history, gameplay, music and sounds, all created from scratch. I hope you like it, unfortunately the game was small. But I managed to close the prototype as a whole, the concept is there!

The game and sounds themselves are beautiful, and I love the shrinking screen, just a few minor issues:
Text itself is unreadable, the font looks nice but I think you need to reduce the spacing.
Animations are too slow, most of them I would put at double the speed.
Your hitboxes feel slightly off too.

Good to see someone getting some dialogue and plot into a game.
I was a bit stuck as to what to do once the combat started though. Took out a few ships and the screen was shrinking, I think I died and it reset, but then there didnt seem to be any enemies.
Keep up the good work tho! Gamejams arent meant to be easy afterall

It missed an option to skip the intro for those who want to go straight for the game. Also, you could host the HTML5 version in itch.io or newgrounds instead of a package in mega.
