This game is an action platformer where you kill pigs and place their guts on diplay for points.

Great job on the game! The art and animations are fantastic, so is the music and sound effects. The core gameplay also works really well. I only encountered a slight bug in which one of the enemies got stuck next to one of my meaty blocks. I would have also liked mouse support for menu options. Good game overall!
It is fun to play, but it is difficult to fight monster under you, when you are on a ladder. Maybe it would be nice to be able to attack on the ladder (you fall when you attack).
This is a pretty unique game. I like how you're given a short period before the pigs start to spawn to gather ammo, and the music change that comes along with it is a nice touch. One thing I'd like to praise in particular is the enemy death animations, which are very smooth and fun to watch. My main criticism for the game would be its repetitiveness, as I feel like I'm just going around killing the same enemies without much change. Perhaps some sort of ramp up in difficulty or a wave structure with breaks in between would help the pacing. Despite any criticism, this is definitely a solid game that I enjoyed playing. Good work!
Very well polished game with cute pixelart! Strange concept of placing blox to get points, it feels a bit random but overall the game plays nicely. The attack box is hard to grasp though I get touched by the pigs all the time!
I like it. Between the weird pigs and the happy pre-pigs music, it has a really off-kilter vibe that I appreciate. And it's really fun. I'd say that if the pigs piled up faster, it might work better for the theme of the jam — it felt like it took a bit long to get to the point. That said, the pacing was actually perfect for a regular, not-jam game.
@superpokeunicorn That`s a good idea, if i had more time i probably would have implemented something like that but with the submissions ending today the best i could do was the bigger pigs.
The art is really cool and the idea of hunting pigs is really cool. It could use a little screen shake, but other than that, it is really cool. Good job!
I loved the graphics and the gameplay was fun! Only two quibbles. First, I'm not sure about the control scheme (I personally would find the regular arrow keys+ZXC easier). Second, the game could use more variety (additional types of ammo, items like shields, enemy types) to prevent it from becoming repetitive. But for a jam entry, it's really nice and polished.

Wooow, super cool entry! Great ambiance thanks to good graphics and relevant music and sounds. You could add more feedback like screen shaking or blinking when shooting or being hurted to make it even more dynamic. You could also maps controls with both WASD and arrows (WASD is not convenient for non qwerty keyboard). Talking about controls, they're a bit stiff, especially, when climbing a ladder, it's always a bit painful to climb and go to left or right. I really like the concept and game play, the entry is well polished. Congratz! :pig: :gun:
Nice audio and I liked the graphical style; its very chunky. Good controls, I think the collisions were well done. I would like it if the melee attack was faster. Design of the sprites was really good too, and the animations.
Great game. The controls could have been better though. Example of what I would feel is better: moving left, and right is AD, and W as jump, and then Space as shooting/attack. The climbing controls is fine :-)
Very good! This game has good sound, art and gameplay. I suggest only put attack on another button, ENTER for attack is a little weird. congrats for this good work

Also that big pig guy is kinda unfair.
Maybe it would be nice to be able to attack on the ladder (you fall when you attack).
