I did not expect this character to bounce off of a balloon and fly into space. That was hilarious. The spacesuit animation is a great touch too.
That was fun! I did have a bit of a hard time with the platforming in the first stage. I think being able to quickly tap the button for a short jump and hold it for a long jump would help that a lot. Otherwise, I like your interpretation of the theme. It's silly and fits the tone of the game well. Good job!

Short, but cute. Jumping among planets was fun. :thumbsup: I also enjoyed the music and the graphics - the little astronaut boy had a really nice design!
I think it's pretty hard to get a good pace of jumping, there are several bugs, there is a line or grid floating in front of the scene which is scrolling. And you can actually fall under the platforms and jump inside of them.
The game was fun but very buggy. Could go through the dirt and even jump while on it. I checked your games and found out this was your first time participating on ludum dare, me too. Overall a fun little game.

this is a fun little mechanic! totally felt the dread of falling back, back, back and needing to start over again, enjoyed the quick humor. cool entry! and thanks for playing my game, too. :)
I couldn't get past the second level, so I didn't evaluate this game, but I thought the second level's locomotion mechanic was quite novel and brainy. It was interesting.
wow great fun! I was shocked when I reach the second level! I am a platformer so I did not feel too hard to jump. I played two different types of game and enjoyed the humor. Great job!
Funny take on a runner game! I dig the player sprite (kind of reminds of of Astroboy). The switch from traditional runner in the second level is refreshing as well. The first level is buggy with being able to jump along under the platforms but overall the game is both fun and amusing. Great compo submission!
Great art, great pun, great gameplay twist and even a little narrative at the end -- really good job.
I almost died during the running section, which would have been a shame; I likely wouldn't have tried again many more times, and never would have seen the more innovative space section. Maybe the difficulty of that beginning section could be tweaked a little?
I died so many times in the beginning that I almost gave up to try. I just insisted because the commentaries here. And I don't regret to play more. The game is really simple, but fun. Good for expend some time. Good job!
