Baker's Island is a platforming action game.
The player is equipped with a knife which is useless in combat as all enemies are made of jelly. Instead, the knife must be used to cut slices off of the motherloafs, living loaves of bread, to spawn breadchildren, sentient slices of bread that have multiple uses including soaking up jelly enemies, executing multiple jumps in the air, and even consumption for refilling health. The goal of the player is to reach the end and interact with the godloaf.
