Battery Blitz

A very cool little game. I had much fun playing it, at first i didnt understand what to do, but after i read the tutorial i understood it and got a highscore of 537 points ^^

I like the simplicity of this, and the cute art and small resolution complement it really well! I wish you could walk diagonally though.

like the simplistic art and moody music.. the game was weird when I had same speed as flying batteries. Clicked the game cause I also used batteries concept for my game :)

@andrew-garcia The 4-direction movement was because it's way too hard to animate diagonal movement. Here's my failed attempt. Haha

Love how simple it is. It took me a while to understand why I needed the blue ones--they helped slow down the game. I had 724 points on my second try~

This is a cute little game! The theme got lost a bit for me, but it was still enjoyable. I don't know if I was just lucky or what, but I was safe when I wedged myself into the lower left corner. I got over 1200 points doing that, and could have gone longer if I had stepped out to manage my overheating at the end.

hey pico-8 friend! Nice game, I liked the idea of making the sacrifice your score. I was confused about whether there was a way to lose in the game, and as other said diagonal movement would have been nice (even without separate animations). The music was nice and I'm glad you put the directions right in the game. good luck!

Nice simple game! It got really hectic as I got more green batteries. I wish I moved just a tad faster than the batteries so I could catch them when I chased after them.
