There sure are a lot of those delivery drones flying around with boxes of goodies. If there were only a way to go them. I have an old circus cannon, but nothing to launch, unless ... hmm, here kitty, kitty ...
Aim your "kitty" cannon at the drones by using your mouse. Press any key or the left mouse button to launch your kitty at the drone. If you hit the drone, your kitty will weigh down the drone enough to safely land with the goods. If you miss, your kitty will fall to ground a little too fast even if it does land on it's feet :( . If you run out of money or cats, the game is over. The game will restart in a few seconds.
The goal is to stay alive for as long as you can, but the drones just fly faster and faster...
Congratz to your finished compo game! :) I guess you scoped it right for the weekend and managed to make it work, not much to add. I didn't rate audio as I didn't hear any. Here, kitty, kitty :D
Intesting little game, it's a perfect game to make in two days and you seemingly had time for everything exept music. Congrats on finishing it and the art has this kind of child like charm to it, I like it. Also the cats look kinda funny!
Great work! Perfect for Ludum Dare, but I feel like there needs to be one more element to give it some depth. Perhaps you should be able to try and "recover" a cat if you miss a crate: load and shoot the next cat straight away and if it catches the other cat then both are saved!
