Date With The Devil is a light 1-4 player party game where four contestants compete to see which one of them will be chosen as a sacrifice to the great demon Goatstradamus, in Sacrifices Must Be Made, a variety game show featuring Q&A sections interspersed with minigames!

Controlled via controller, or with the following keyboard controls:

Player 1: Arrow keys to move, Z to select, X to cancel. Enter to start.

Player 2: WASD to move, C to select, V to cancel.

Player 3: Numpad 5,1,2,3 to move, B to select, N to cancel

Player 4: IJKL to move, M to select, "," to cancel.

We do not recommend playing with a keyboard for more than 1-2 players, unless each player is given a separate keyboard.

Change Log:
12/4 @ 4:30PM EST: Fixed a bug which would cause the Leylines minigame to indefinitely hang if certain combinations of characters were chosen.

Nice idea, but I feel there should be at least a bit more explanation or time regarding the minigames. I was lost at what to do or decide most of the time. I mean...I lost points because green is not my favorite color? What?

The character select screen was very confusing using keyboard, I know it would have been much more intuitive on gamepad. I think I selected 2 playing characters and got stuck at the leylines because my player 2 was not receiving the wasd input. I was excited to see how it was all going to turn out. Man the game needed some audio. Overall it was pretty awesome, though.

We're looking into the leylines issue, thanks for bringing it to our attention, @dk5000p! So far we haven't been able to reproduce it internally, but hopefully we'll figure it out soon! :)

The art was really cool !
maybe the dialog was a little bit too long, but jokes were really funny !
I like that you have done a party game, good idea, haven't seen it in a LD game before !

Nice idea, but there are a few things that bothered me: first, the game refers to A and B buttons, while all descriptions mention Cancel and Select. Also, I think the intro is a bit long.

Nice character art! I liked the way the text transitioned and the characters were pretty unique. I do wish there was a way to instant reveal the text since I read faster than the next transitioned in.
