The game idea is simple and good. The graphics is okay, but the music is really amazing. The difficulty level is super high, and sadly not in a good way. Overall this is a fine LD game.

That last part had my heart racing! The true sacrifice was giving up the sword it seems.

Haha, damn, a WASD game x) It was a bit hard to play with my AZERTY keyboard, but I tried it out. I believe the game is a bit too hard (way too many enemies on the screen) and I didn't truly find the "sacrifice" in it? Yes, you do lose some HP with the checkpoints, but it isn't that big of a sacrifice.

Otherwise, cool idea, there's potential for a full fledged-out game there! Congrats!
