- You may choose to sacrifice some EXP to increase the total EXP defeated enemies give you

Controls

- Everything: Mouse Click
- Quit: ESC (PC only)

Team

- Designer/Programmer: Nelson
- UI Designer: Michael

This time around my usual team was not able to participate in the jam with my graphic artist only having time to provide the UI graphics. Because of this, I opted to borrow assets from our previous entries as well as use freely available resources for sprites, animations, and music.

All the game code was done during the jam.

Disclaimer

The game idea was preconceived before the jam and I updated it to match the theme but all the work to put the game together and code it was done during the jam.

Developer Notes

The WebGL was crashing at first because I did not notice the large size all the images I was using were. It took me a while but once I understood the issue it was easy to fix. Both the WebGL and the PC version have been updated to use the smaller scaled images to reduce the memory they use and avoid memory allocation and crashing bugs.

*Known issues

Also, I did not spend too much time balancing the game an there is a possibility that if you are clicking too fast and you die, you may hit the restart button by mistake. I'm sorry about that but the game is short :)

Final Thoughts

Though this is not my first game jam, it was the first time I competed semi-alone and had to wear multiple hats as designer and programmer working with genres I'm not too familiar with.

The experience was fun and I learned a lot about design and I feel like I leveled up in my Unity programming which is always a plus! :)
