About
So many things to do, so little time...
What are you willing to sacrifice to make a game?
And what will your sacrifices bring you?
Goal
Defeat four stages of game development disguised as monsters:1. Education
2. Pre-production
3. Active development
4. Marketing and release
Try your best to stay on target and make a good game, while not forgetting to take care about your physical and mental health. Because remember: *it's not game development that harms you but you yourself*.
Controls:
```
- Mouse/touch
- Buttons on the screen.
- Click on the actions on the bottom of the screen to sacrifice them and
spend freed time on making a game
- Be careful choosing what you are willing to sacrifice,
as with some decisions you wont be able to keep working on your game
Used Engine and tools
* PixiJS v4* pixi-timer
Used Software
* VS Code* Adobe animator 2017
* Flash cs3
* Adobe Photoshop
* Pro Tools 12
* Cubase AI Elemets 9
* Soundly 2.0
* TexturePacker
* Streamlabs OBS
Notes
* Playtime ~5min* Only two enemies are implemented (out of 4 planned)
* Game might bug out if you minimize the tab (due to poorly coded animation sequences, sorry :3)
* We are not experienced in JS and have used PixiJS for the first time and this jam was a nice opportunity to try it out. Even though it is not recommended to use unknown tools on the jam, I (_Xorboo_) think that on the contrary - this is the best way to learn something new, even though the game won't be as good as it could be
* GitHub repo needs some cleanup and a readme first
