I didn't have much time this jam because of school, so its a bit under polished and scratchy, but the main mechanics are there. you pretty much sacrifice the parts of your body for spells you cast.

Controls:

-Input--Cost--Action-

WASD - free - Movement

Space - free - Jump

mouse click - 2hp - A small laser thing

e button - a finger - Fireball

q button - an eye - Shock-wave

The game is still a bit broken, but i like it.

I found it very confusing as to what was happening at first, there's not really any description for the goal of the game :P

I did like watching the fingers disappear though lol

I like the idea but the game is quite broken, sorry. I wasn't able to live for more than 5 seconds and there were other bugs as well.

I've really tried to play your game but I just couldn't make it at first.
Got message stating that data folder should be in the same folder as executable. They were but didn't work.
Checked the names, tried moving files to some other place.
In the end i run it through command line "HandGone.exe HandGone_Data".

As for the game. It's just not much depth in it. Therefore it's hard to rate it.
Idea for sacrificing your body parts work. Which is fun. Too bad you have only 10 fingers :)

Great idea, I really love the way you implemented losing an eye. The screen size changing worked, and I liked the fireball. I think with better graphics and sound this could be a decent game.
