Great artwork. But I got stuck several times trying to climb the ledge before the fire, and the height of the jumps was changing drastically. Could not get past the fire.
Fun little game! Enjoyed it, but struggled to actually succeed (probably me being bad rather than anything on the game's behalf). The sounds were fun and it was satisfying being able to charge into the enemies!
I really enjoyed this game, I had so much fun with it and it just felt really good to play. I played with a controller, and it just felt really nice. It looked simple yet really clean, and blasting through the earlier levels, then strategically navigating the later ones felt really good, I felt like an action hero in the game. I would have liked some indication earlier that I could hit enemies to instantle defeat them, as I discovered that on accident, but other than that I had a lot of fun with this game, I wish it was longer or had some sort of time based scoreboard so I had an excuse to play it more. Nice work
I liked this a lot! The last level was a bit easier for me than the previous ones, but maybe it's because I've gotten better at the game :)
Especially liked: 1. Pixelated art (and especially the pixelated Kanagawa paintings) 2. Animations 3. Feel of the game - bumping an enemy to kill them felt very satisfying

Heya, I liked your game and think it is really fun, but I think the theme is really weak. There doesnt seem to be any difference between the weapons and killing everybody melee was my go to way as soon as I accidently realized I could do so in the first level. If you would differentiate the weapons more and make melee more high risk you could have a great little action platformer at your hands.
A platformer that make me feel like a real bad ass. The graphics and animations is overall pretty good in this game. I would have liked some music and some better sound effects. And got stuck in some of the walls. Overall a fine LD game.
Pretty decent shooter-platformer! Visuals are really nice, audio effects are okay but also slightly annoying over time. The gameplay worked well and controls felt good although I felt like they could've been more fluid (as in getting stuck in walls a bit). I found out quite late that you can also jump on enemies head, which from this point on was my favorite (and in the end the only) way of killing enemies, it just felt really satisfying. The shortcut in the final level was a nice little touch. Enjoyed this game quite a bit overall, good job!
