Taking the theme to the literal conclusion, you are a god who needs blood sacrifice to survive! LOTS of blood. Take matters into your own hands and drag your victims onto the altar before your time runs out.

Your Sacrificial Lambs
Just an average person. There's loads of these. Does not refill your time, but is worth at least a few points.
A child. Rarer and a more valuable sacrifice. Worth more points and adds some time to the clock
A toddler. A very valuable sacrifice. Worth several points and adds more time to the clock than an older child does.
