Rick and Morty are going on another crazy adventure. Although.. It’s gonna be only Morty this time aaand .. the adventure looks more like a death trap. Literally. Because he’s gonna die there. A lot. And go back in time. To prove he’s strong (To get the hell out of there actually). And he’d need to step over himself this time. Literally. Over his own dead body. A lot of bodies. And the crazy monsters. Rick and Morty adventures forever. Only Morty this time. Dies to save himself. Morty adventures forever... Oh jeez..
Memento Morty is an action-puzzle game based on time travelling mechanic in Rick and Morty universe. You play as Morty trapped in a strange dimension where every time he dies he goes back in time to a certain point and should avoid his previous instances to prevent a time paradox. You should use Morty’s multiple copies to find the escape before the whole place blows up.
pretty sweet concept and well executed. enjoyed the game and felt adequately challenged. just so you know, there is sometimes a glitch where your first reincarnation immediately dies. also, there were a few typos in the intro. otherwise, fun game and solid use of the theme.
Past the Rick and Morty theming (which I really enjoy), this game is original and fun. I did find the audio to be repetitive and some feedbacks not so clear but that last level really did bring the concepts of the game forward.
Cool take on the suicide-platformer genre with having the line-of-sight be an issue, just wish it was more relevant in the level design, usually just ended up sitting and waiting for the previous versions to die. But despite that the levels were still fun and a little challenging, and overall a great entry!
Haha, this is brilliant! At first I wasn't sure what was going on, but once I realised that it was clear how well thought out the game was. Well done!!
I concur with everyone else here, the concept is very promising and the level design is good. Wish there were more levels! I’m pretty sure if you also find some time to polish the graphics and animations you’ll end up with a really great game.
