Nice job on the sound effects :smile: The acceleration feels a little too sluggish and the turning feels very weird, both of which results in a very hard to control game, which is the only thing that's really bad. Everything else was nice, i.e. the models, sprites, sound, gameplay concept. I feel that if the controls were a little tighter, this would have been a great game
Well done! I like the sound effects and voice work put into this. The controlls feel good but sometimes it is too easy to loose controll and start gliding. You could maybe pan the camera slightly wowards the mouse to give the player more controll of the camera (whough that may cause too many problems with aiming in general). It would have been nice to have some kind of shield(if there was, I didn't find any) to avoid the meteors when god is unhappy. The pacing should perhaps be made a bit slower because it feels like god gets unhappy a bit too quickly(then again I couldn't kill the santas quickly enough, so it might be player error).
It looks great, it is definitely a very fun game to play with! However, I can't feel the theme from the game, I think there could be a better interpretation of the topic that you like to present. Overall, it is a great game.
The Good: Hilarious sound effects and graphics created a playful environment. Gameplay was enjoyable and kept me playing for quite a bit. Shooting required some skill which was a good thing.
Needs Improvement: Controlling the car/tank feels a bit strange as it does not reflect the way this kind of vehicle would move in other games. The UI looked a bit raw and unpolished.
I wanted to go for a score of 1,000 but ended up only getting 658. :/
Score aside... The UI does feel a little incomplete, though I think the rest of the graphics are great. The tank movement does feel a little sluggish at times, as other people have mentioned. The audio was amusing. I will say, though, the god threw quite a temper in a relatively short amount of time. :P
No, but seriously, this was a really interesting use of the theme. Really fun gameplay also! This was pretty awesome for something made in only two days! :)
