Please Read This Description!

Squares Squares Squares

Everything is Square-y (No pun intended)

-Attack those squares and earn Points!

Too bad it's not that simple....

You have to sacrifice your points and guns!

-You use points as your ammunition (So be careful when using them)

-You can remove guns to get new guns (Might be better might be worse, it also uses up 20 points)

Controls:

-WASD to move around (This is the only thing that doesn't use points)

-Left Click to shoot (Points are used up depending on the gun)

-Right Click to change gun (Remember, it uses up points!)

You can get hurt if one of the enemies run into you, but you also get points (So, your choice)

Guns & Squares

All the Guns

- Normal Gun (An okay gun. Pretty usable)
- Big Gun (Normal Gun with higher damage and lower reloading speed)
- Even Bigger Gun (Fires a bullet that penetrates through Enemies and deals a lot of damage. Very good late game)
- Fish Gun (Fires a bullet that deals decent damage)
- Fishy Gun (Trash)
- ATM Machine Gun (Good at destroying enemies with high health. It has higher chance to miss in long range)

- (Side note: Bullet that each gun shoot indicates the amount of damage it deals. Just look closely)

All the Enemies (In the order they appear)

- Square (Leech mouth?)
- Big Square (Disgusting Lip)
- Times Square (Sorry, I ran out of ideas)
- Boss Square (Creepy smile that is not inspired by Joker)

It's best NOT to use the full screen mode. It breaks the aspect ratio

Nice game, liked the screen shake and reloading bar you added and also the increase in enemies giving it overall a nice game feel. I also liked the title screen where you would have to shoot at the object to start the game.

LOL! I love the sense of humor in this. I did have bug where I got stuck in the corner, so you might want to look into that.

Gotta love that screen shake when you shoot. Gives a nice satisfying feeling (unless your bad at games like me then it turns into an earthquake simulator).

Great concept, I just couldn't play without getting stuck moving in one direction, which made the game pretty frustrating. The graphics and mechanics were spot on though, I loved the ability to change between guns and the particle effects when you shot an enemy, it really made the game feel alive. If you could just fix the controls, I'm sure i'd...have a blast (gun joke).

Very fun and polished game, except for that pesky getting stuck in a corner thing.
I don't know which one I prefer between the Fish Gun and the Even Bigger Gun xD

The random weapon system is so nice!

I think that some nice additions would be:
Damage numbers;
Bigger arena;
High score;

Fun game, camera shake adds lots of juice. I thought it was way too easy and then they all came in and murdered me, fun game!

I had a really fun time playing the game, the controls were nice and simple. Also the screen shake effect is very good. I liked the fish gun the most.

This game is really weird, and this a good thing ! I like the crazy style and the silly ideas, even the weird graphics.
The gameplay has a lot of ideas, I like the concept of the different weapons, too bad it ends up being a quite basic shooter because there is so much to do with this concept. But I had a lot of fun with your game, so overall, good job !

The gameplay concept is very good and is helped by the fact that you have to make split second decisions in the heat of the moment. However, once you know by heart every gun, you know wich one to get and won't sacrifice any more points that way. Otherwise, I liked that you took the time to give some polish with the screenshake.

Gameplay was simple, but really fun. The difficulty jump made it feel like we were forced to use the bigger gun since they had so much health. I think one thing that could help give the player more choice is to sacrifice points to upgrade their current gun. That way, players still sacrifice points but still have a viable gun that fits their desire playstyle. Great entree!

It wasn't really obvious when I should switch guns (or what I was sacrificing) - but it was good fun. My absolute favourite part is the "tutorial"... It was really smart: "shoot to begin" means that I absolutely had to understand the basic shooting mechanic to begin. Genius!

I know it was mentioned before, but the camera shaking was super enjoyable and added a lot to the game! I also loved the variety of weapons I got to choose from. Super fun! Great jam game :)
