Introduction
Congratulations! You just adopted the cutest tama! It's a lot of responsibility, but you can definitely handle it. You should care for it and feed it when it's hungry.

Maybe too short and lacking some narration though, the tama goes wrong before you have the time to grasp the area and the situation.

Votre jeu est tellement mignon! Il est trop court par contre, comme disait legulysse, j'aurais bien aimé avoir le temps d'explorer un peu. Mais d'un autre côté ça donne aussi une ambiance quand tu dois trouver en urgence de quoi manger :)
La musique est trop chouette, les graphiques aussi, j'adore, bravo !

This is extremely cute ! It is a bit hard to get what you're supposed to do unless you already know the concept though. It's cool that the music changes with the tam evolution and the effect that makes the houses disapears when you enter them is perfect ! Great job !

Tama is so cute, I would get them anything they wants! I liked the visuals and sound, the change of mood when night come. The pressure of hunger was a bit too much, when you don't know what you have to do. Great job making this!

Loved the art and perpective in the houses as well as day / night color changes. I would love to see some narration and extra actions or interactions with the villagers. Good Job!

I liked this game a lot! It's mood is so cool as the cat's appearence and the music becomes a bit more evil after every night :D I liked the graphics a lot! I liked as this simplicity and low amount of color palette. Music loops really well and changes a bit in mood very fluently, animations of eating candies are so cute.

Ohh noo, I knew what would happen but didn't want it to. Perhaps there could be branching paths later if you continue working on it depending what you do. Liked the change in music and color palette. Nice job!

Well done - amazing project under Pico. It seesm tome that you coded an interesting NaveMesh agent. The aesthetic is good (pico graphics are special, but neat). Cool mood and nice trip. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle entrée ++

Nice game, I liked it! I would have liked a bit more information on what my goal was though, I had to do a second run to get through the end as I didn't realize how the game worked until a second try.. It also might have been good for some flavor text or something for the last form to let you know you shouldn't go after the candy things any more...

I enjoyed your game! Graphics are perfect for the genre and music is great.
Just an idea: I think you could make the animations more gore and longer to be more unpleasant, then come back to the happy cute music.

@geckoo1337: haha I actually pretty much copied the pseudocode from the A* wikipedia page and adapted to my needs, so really there's no glory in that :)
@hadesfury: that's interesting! have you tried other PICO-8 games recently and were they as laggy? was it generally slow or did some actions take time?
@doomshmuck: yes I agree it lacked some text, there's a sound when your tama refuses to eat candy but it's too hard to notice I think

I like how this tells a "story" via gameplay mechanics and gives the player the privilege of figuring out and understanding what's happening.

Cute game! Initially I didn't know you could interact with the people because the game wouldn't let you at the beginning. So I thought only the red things had interaction. Maybe you can interact with the people in a friendly way at first, then it will be more surprising when Tama gets bigger.
It would also be great if you could interact with more objects e.g. rummaging the fridge for food, that way its more of a challenge finding what you can or cannot eat.
