Full-on, audible laughs were had with this game, particularly with the slot machine dialogue system (awesome idea, by the way). "My junk smells like John." ".....Great!"
Really wish there was a payoff for my choices though! I thought the gas clouds covering up my answers were due to the fact that I didn't poop ahead of time, but even when I went into the interview fully showered and pooped, I still got the clouds...
What I really like about this game is that, unlike a lot of game jam games, it feels like a cohesive whole. Everything, from the animation to the music, to the premise/gameplay complements each other, which almost never happens as seamlessly as I see it here. Awesome work!
This is the best game I have seen so far in this jam. The dialogues are really funny, I feel everything about the game was funny. I would love to play a longer version of this game, the graphics were really nice too! Very welll done ! :)
I love the effort put into every aspect, additionally the idea sits well with a theme as it can in some forms relate to people in real life and the way to make a good game is to get through to the people and you're doing that :D Would love for some feedback and a rating on mine too :D
Great game! It was fun and funny. I love the art style and how the music fits in. I also like the idea behind some of your humor. Especially the slot machine.
Does the volume setting do anything tho? It was loud for me and it wasn't getting softer.
@kenn50games it actually does at the end. The boss has a health bar and when it reaches 0 you get the job.. but it might not be as apparent as it should be.

Very nice! I played it a few times until I got the job and it was a pleasure everytime. Nothing to say about the game itself, it was smooth. Maybe the art is a little bit weird sometimes, we go from a clean sprite to a little bit messier one, but it's a jam so of course it can't be perfect. Congratulations, I'm pretty sure you'll be in the top 100. :)
Made me laugh :) I really liked the art style and the animations, the idea was really good, the "sacrifices" you make at the beginning are a pretty unique variation on the theme :)
Too bad it was so short. Also, would be nice if the questions/answers were more randomized, so I would not already know the answers, and could experiment more with making different sacrifices at the beginning and finding out what is optimal. by the way, one thing I'm not sure I figured out - what's the effect of not pooping at the beginning?
@matank We had to cut out a mechanic where you had to stop yourself from pooping in the interview if you drank coffee instead of pooped. that would add to the bosses health if you did. its why the coffee questions were so easy :3
