A Zelda-like game where the goal is to free haunted spirits - by giving up a bit of your life force for each rescue. Instead of gaining hearts, they are irrevocably lost. Such is the price of bravery.
Move with WASD, attack with right ctrl. Survive long enough in the proceduraly generated map to find the 4 spirits - and sacrifice a bit of your life to free them.
Malarpuppet, thanks for taking a look. You just need to find the spirits (randomly placed at "dead ends" on the map). To do that you just need to clear the rooms they are on. You will loose a heart container, but after the first one you'll also gain a ranged attack - we had also hoped to give the player an extra power for each other spirit but ran out of time.
