Note - Solo Dev and this was my first Ludum Dare where I actually submitted something. I think I spent waaaay too much time working on menus and had to rush the near the end, so the balancing is probably really bad. May or may not update this game, hope you enjoyed if you did play it tho!
Nice game! Similar to comments i've on other games: buying stuff with health is not particularly fun, it's just frustrating. (I understand why you did it though, the theme was....).
Anyway, other than that it was cool. I recommend adding sound, using Bfxr you can do this in about 10 minutes, and it adds so much to the game (it gives the user more feedback as to what is happening).
The enemy count builds up super quickly, although they weren't to hard to kill, so maybe this was on purpose.
Overall, I would say it's a fun game, it made 10 minutes of my life better.
Lastly, well done for getting something submitted, I highly recommend leaving some ratings on other games, so that your game gets more feedback!!
