A small fun game that works well. But the balance could be improved. My planet also died for no apparent reason. Maybe I cooled it down to much. Good work!
I really liked the concept of your game. I have to agree with @andidebob, some balance would make the experience more mooth :) But overall you did a good job!

Sadly my planets keep dying. I think because the tree score goes negative?
Kill the planet to defend the planet.
And the mechanics represent the theme well.
