The adventure / gaming simulator - You try to be the next big streamer and have to manage your time between playing ranked games, streaming, chilling or going to bed. Also don't forget to eat healthy too.

States

* Gaming:

Gaming has a chance of increasing your rank. The higher your rank, the more followers you will attract in your next streaming session. You also have a chance of winning small cash prizes.

Gaming costs a lot of stress, increases hunger rate and tiredness rate.

* Streaming:

Streaming let's you gain followers. If you have a lot of followers, you will slowely start earning an income. Your rank will ofcourse start dropping if you stop playing games.

Streaming costs a medium amount of stress, slight hunger and slight tiredness.

* Chilling:

Chilling decreases your stress slightly, slows hunger rate and slightly returns energy.

* Sleeping:

Sleeping decreases lots of stress, slows hunger rate furthur and returns lots of energy.

* Pizza:

Clicking on the pizza gives you calories.

* Energy Drink:

Clicking on the energy drink gives you a boost of energy at the cost of stress.

Theme & Goal

I interpreted currency and life very broad. You have to balance your life (vitals to live) to achieve your goal.

-> Survive as long as you can.

About Me

This is my first ever game. Not only with Unity, but ever. I used Unity, Photoshop and WavePad to generate and record everything. I used my voice and a built in microphone on my laptop.

The biggest problem I had was obvioulsy figuring out how to translate my ideas into the right code syntax. I would love if someone would have time to point out what sections I could do better.

The big struggle I had was having all the variables that I needed for balance spread around all the scripts. I would definatly need a variable manager or something next time so I can tweak the values a lot faster.

Edit - Balance

After feedback and playing a bit more myself I did figure out that the balance is indeed off.

You have to keep gaming to make enough money to buy food. But in doing so you will get too much stress / heartrate by day 3 or 4. You will need to rest a lot to lower it, which will make you unable to make enough money anymore. So you either die of food or heartattack.

It's fun to figure this stuff out, would love to imporve this game and a post - LD version soon.
