Gameplay

Puzzle game about collecting coins using interpolation.

*This game changed so much along the way that it no longer fits the theme, but I'll submit it anyways.*

How to play:

Read the GOAL section in upper right corner of the game for each level. It gives you hints on what do to.

Controls:

You control the game by first clicking on the "cursor" and then tapping the "physical" button on the side of the oscilloscope screen. Cursors are 2 white arrows on each side of the screen and the red dot in the middle.

Although it doesn't fit the theme at all it is an awesome game, this is by far the most innovative game that I've scene in Ludum Dare!

Quite clever idea of the game. It was hard to control at first, I appreciate that there rules were always on the screen. It helped a lot!

The idea is truly original and visual perfectly seconds. But honestly I am unable to develop a correct strategy, my solutions are far from perfect. I fail at this kind of science :penguin:

Game is well made but the only thing which i had problem was the controls. it was really challenging for me to move the arrow heads. Other than that everything is good.

I loved this game! It's a great logical puzzle that would even help people study interpolation! Congrats on your entry! Too bad this game didn't fit the theme, but I don't care... It's one of my favorites!

I love this game. It didn't fit the theme, but it's still a great game with a really unique mechanic. One improvement you could make is that when you click reset, it resets everything, not just the positions of the cursors and the coins. Great job! :thumbsup:

I think it is a very innovative game, so that perhaps why I have no clue how to play it. The Oscilloscope also looks very nice.

@mika-la-grand it's not your fault. I put very little time into making the game understandable. Things you can click don't even look like you can click them.

This was very interesting. Took a little bit to figure out how to play but had nice puzzles. I enjoyed seeing everything just move once you pressed play, there was beauty to it. Math is beautiful.

Super original concept here, I haven't seen a game like this yet.
If I were to provide one suggestion, it would be awesome if we could just select which interpolation curve we wanted, instead of having to cycle through them.

I didn't get all the controls to work. Only the "play" button worked and that left a little unfinished touch to the game. But the execution of the waveforms which is the main part of the game worked fine, I just wished the controls would also work.

Very interesting game, totally unique. Really great graphics too. One criticism might be that it is very difficult to get the hang of - a more in-depth tutorial would go a long way!

Oh man I did not know I could have fun with an oscilloscope, the idea is really clever and very innovative!

Cycling through the waveforms is a bit tedious, and every time you restart the cursors are reset. Maybe the changes could be saved ?

Life is currency, so the oscilloscope represent our heartbeat ? Something like that ?

That's amazing work, great job!

Innovative, for sure! It took me some time to understand how it works. I find it very difficult to elaborate a strategy to win straight from the 3rd level. I would try to make the difficulty increase more smoothly.
I would also add some sounds at least on the buttons to have a feedback when clicking.
