So this is my submission for my first Ludum Dare. Because the theme is "your life is currency," I decided to make a game where you would trade your life for power. I tried to go with a Mario-style-stomping-baddies kinda gameplay.
I didn't have nearly as much time as I wanted to to make this due to business, doing the majority of it in the last twelve hours of the event. However I think it still turned out decently well and I've learned, so it's a win in my book. :)
