Your intergalactic overlord has scanned the galaxy searching for resources needed to continue the survival of your alien race. He has discovered a tiny, feeble planet called "earth" that seems to be abundant in these resources, and he has decided to send you, one of the most loyal and feared members of his military, to scout the planet. Upon your arrival, you are terrified to realize that the inhabitants of this world also hold this resource in very high regard. Somehow, possibly due to your appearance, it doesn't take long at all for them to become hostile and come after you. Can you defend yourself long enough to gather the resources your people desperately need?
This was my second Ludum Dare game (check out Potty Panic!), my third game jam game, and my first solo game.
Objectives: - Beat up the people trying to steal your coins. - Collect coins to fill your bag and win the game. - Throw coins to use as a distraction if you find yourself in a pickle.

I am terrible at punching thieving kids. I enjoyed the absurd setting and doodle art style. For as badly as these kids want the coin out of my body... more often than not, they still choose to chase me even though i've thrown out tons of coins. Why do they want the ones still inside me so bad? ;/
@youpeoples@rosypenguin Thank you for playing! I think I might have made the game a taaaad bit too difficult. But I also think it's really funny when you get completely surrounded and beaten by a circle of ~~children~~ adults.
@egawag Thank you so much! I'm not an artist but I'm really happy with how the graphics came out
I guess this is how it feels when you open a pack of cigarettes in prison! Love the graphics and had fun even though it's very hard to keep it together when enemies start comming in heaps. I think either the coins scatter too far when enemies die or the money bag is too slow!
@rosypenguin@dannn Thank you for playing! More speed sounds like a good plan. This also helps to give me a better idea to control how far the coins fly and how fast the enemies start coming.
@oku@angry-squirrels Thank you! Means a lot coming from both of you, as you both have wonderfully crafted games. Originally, the game was going to be score based, rather than having a win condition, but now I think that I should have just added both.
No really, it's a good premise and the graphics are great, wish the walk speed was a little faster though. Also there isn't much skill to punching, maybe a block button?
Fun game! I like the theme very much. The graphics felt good and natural, the music was upbeaty and fitting too. The only problem I had was that the hitbox seemed to feel a little off but that was just first glance. Overall nice game!
@drearyplane8 Thanks for playing! I actually had blocking very early on but decided to remove it. If I were to work on the game some more, I would consider re-adding it, and maybe a parry system as well
The graphics are pretty cute and the gameplay is fun, but I find it too difficult once a lot of enemies start appearing, they surround you constantly (and throwing a coin, usually only distracts one), maybe a button for walking faster could make it easier.
Fun game to play! Loved the music and mechanics, although I'd rather had an ability to speed myself up for money instead of throwing it away to attract mobs. Great job anyway!
It would be five stars overall if you could move quicker/the difficulty didn't scale so quickly! The gameplay is simple but a really great idea, has a lot of potential, and the art and music fit well.
Thank you all so much for the feedback. It's greatly appreciated. Next time I will make sure to try to balance the difficulty better :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Thanks for playing!
It's a nice game, graphics are great and audio is nice too. But it is hard! I couldn't beat it and the coin throwing mechanic didn't really work well for me. It took me a while to figure out that i could do a right-handed punch with the right mouse button and when I did it let to some awkward moments with me frantically right-clicking outside the canvas in the browser window  But that's not your fault obviously.
I love the art style and with a little tweaking I think it could be even more fun! :)
Pretty fun, but there's an incredible difficulty curve. pretty hard to fight off eight or more people at once. I loved the art, and the dead bodies were a pretty great touch.
This is a surprisingly tough game. Enjoyed having to fight up close while trying to work for coins. The mob can definitely be scary. Would have liked more reward for using left and right punches. Liked the clean art style and the idea of being a bag of money everyone wants to pile on.

I also like how some enemies will pop up and go for the coins, instead of attacking you.
Simple game, but lots of interesting concepts here. The enemies can gang up on you very easily, however.
