This was my first LD Jam and I had a lot of fun.
I initially intented to submit the game in compo category but time ran out.I used the one extra day for removing some bugs,audio glitches and even added a leaderboard.

I used Unity, BFXR , beepbox, Gimp and piskel.
Controls are as follows -

W A S D for Player 1 movement.
Arrow keys for Player 2.
Q for Player 1 speed upgrade.
M for Player 2 speed upgrade

E to toggle canons for Player 1.
N to toggle canons for Player 2.

These controls are not needed to be memorized.The Games UI shows everything.

In this game, health can be traded for two upgrades.
Using the Canon uses health as well as increasing the speed of player.
Upgrading the speed is necessary as the speed of ball increases gradually.

The game is still a bit buggy at times, but I completed it before deadline , completing my goal while entering the Game Jam

The classic pong game with a creative twist...I love it! Its nice and simple yet theres loads of features in the pvp mode. Pretty fun and matched the theme nicely.

It's a very satisfying Pong. The gamefeel is good, and the music is great! I think it's a success.

I like to see PvP games in Ludum Dare! I thought the lasers were a bit overpowered, and the leaderboard seemed a bit glitched. Had fun playing with a friend though :smile:

@ausstein You are right.At first the ball would just go on a straight line making the game very boring.
So at last moment i threw that random bounce mechanic.It helped to make the game a bit interesting but also made the ball go on unexpected paths.

@boxedmeatrevolution Had no time to balance the lazers TBH. The leaderboard also dose'nt seem to work on webGL version.

I player the single person and it was kinda nice! I don't know if I missed some features but it seemed really monotonic. But I loved the music!

Oooooh dude, that one is awesome! Rareley had that much fun with a ludum dare entry. Rarely played a pvp here either. Graphics are simplistic but thats honestly not what matters. Rock on dude!
