_A great space fight has just ended, and all that's left is you...and one enemy ship. There's weapons and shield generators floating around in space - you can reel them in and install them on your ship if they get close enough! Mind you there is this one enemy ship... maybe take him down first?_
The Last Duel is a card game set in space where you duel to the death. Each upgrade costs a life ("fusion core"), so you must measure up benefit vs cost. Whoever can blast away all the fusion cores in the other ship, wins the Last Duel.
Win by attacking with lasers and rockets and special weapons like the Giant Bomb and EMP. Lasers can be stopped by the shield, and rockets can be distracted by flares. There's no stopping the Giant Bomb, and the EMP will take out your shield (unless it is massively upgraded), opening up for a laser attack!
Controls: Mouse and R to restart.
Update: Have added a post-compo version with a fix for a reported bug!
