Man, you're a genius. The idea to let player exploit the game instructions (The one with save and the two with upgrades) - that's so damn fun. :smiley:
Game is pretty enjoyable, but sometimes it's pretty hard to dodge those arrows.
One little thing - after reaching "Secret True Ending" game hangs and I have to quit it using the window, I'd be nice if one could still interact or something.
Great mood and snappy controls! Enjoyed the audio and gameplay, damn things got tough the further you progressed. Sometimes the walls wouldn't prevent bullets, but otherwise the game felt very solid!
Only one bullet type is stopped by walls. The Blue one. Red one Bounces. Black one is immune to walls.

Nice game, I like it a lot ! But please add ZQSD controls for french keyboards xD The mood is really great, for some reason it reminds me of a game called Voyd, a game I played years ago but I really did enjoy its atmosphere and your game gave me similar feelings. Great entry, thanks for it !

Really like the graphics and atmosphere. The gameplay itself was fairly fun, although I think that the wall eater is underpowered. Also, a fullscreen mode would have been nice! :smile:
Fun game. Found it a little bit annoying when I was close to a wall and tried to jump across but instead it just stuck me against the wall. Other than that, lots of fun, nice concept, and good potential.
I love the idea behind this! Was a bit hard to get the hang of avoiding the bullets at first, but it got easier pretty quickly. If you ever do more with this, a smaller hitbox on the player might be nice, though that might also be personal preference: I tend to get really close to the bullets when moving between them.
Awesome concept! It felt like a combination of a puzzle game and a bullet-hell game. Great job! The different color bullets going through or not going through walls didn't feel all that intuitive to me, I kept trying to hide behind walls only to get hit, may be part of the learning curve though.
I really liked the game! It's really well made. I thought the "Okay Smartass..." comment was really funny.
I still can't figure out how to get the secret ending. It just says I unlocked it, and it says, "Secret True Ending" at the bottom of the screen, but nothing actually happens.
I admit, I suck so much at bullet hell games, but it was fun! I especially like how you can trick the "make a choice" step ;) good mood in the game, congrats!
Game is super fun! Dodging the bullets while collecting hearts is super challenging! Love the game!

Sitting on the spikes for some reason gave me the secret ending, but nothing else happened. That can't be the "secret ending"... Other than that, I couldn't find it for the life of me. Oh well, guess I will wait for someone to enlighten me...

Nice, very difficult but lots of fun. Good work on putting in the upgrades etc. at the start. The secret ending was probably the best cinematic marvel ever! :p.
@gcttirth you sat on a spike for 30 seconds just to see what it would do. You were rewarded. But you must find its value inside yourself. Its your ending. On your terms.
Really liked the unique controls! They are strange in the beginning, but after 3-4 rounds they become second nature. The unskippable tutorial is a bit annoying. Tha game overall is great, it's a quite nice challenge!
@cpx3 Yeah, If I could go back and change any one thing it would be to have you respawn upside down at the first choice on game restart. Thanks for the feedback. And more thanks for taking the time to play my game.
Great work, I liked the short tutorial in the beginning and allowing you to choose a powerup and skin before you begin. The music was nice and atmospheric and the art was minimal yet charming.
The game is in a very basic style, but that dosn't at all effect the great game play. Your concept is very simplistic but also very effective and I can see myself spending hours on this to beat high scores.
Having to redo the "tutorial" is a bit boring, but the secret ending promise was intriguing enough for me to keep going.
While you can wait out buying the 'save', you cannot wait out buying one of the two initial upgrades, that is a bit confusing.
I also tried to do 90 degree jumps, which are not possible. That's on me, I guess :)
I especially enjoy the mood of the game, combined with the soundtrack.
