Wanted is a reaction game where you have to almost perfectly time your reaction in order to become the Sheriff of the Wild West! Government will pay you for killing your enemies, but be careful, you will also become a face on one of those wanted posters!
HOW TO PLAY:
Duel consists of three phases marked with three different sounds: * Ready phase, * Steady phase, * Shoot phase
Once you hear that the shoot phase has started press space key as fast as you can!
First one that comes to 3 wins, wins the duel!
CONTROLS:
Single player: SPACE KEY - SHOOT
Two player: A - first player shoot L - second player shoot
Really cool graphics - love the old kinescopic tv effect and the pixel art is just amazing! Only issue I had is with balancing - wasn't able to even advance from the first opponent, he draws so fast. Otherwise a super cool game! Cheers!

Woaw DUDE, Good to see you back in LD44 :frog: :clap:. This games Visuals are sick dude :clap: i might just steal that Shader Mhuahahah :japanese_goblin:. For the game its solid entry, very clean. The sound can be a little loud but i am gonna blame Unity on that :frog:. I hope next time we get a better theme, this year was to constrictive. I can't beat double pistol old man... @rustycrow it's the one after Geronimo. Sometimes he's faster than me, sometimes it seems that my shoot don't register.
For your metrics : I shot between 213ms and 258sm.
really fun game, and just one simple mechanic. well polished too great job. Also the top guy is L.Luke which makes me laugh as my game is lunatic luke haha
God that's hard ! but I really like seeing my reaction time :) I don't really see the theme connection, that's not a problem but since you didn't opt out of that category, maybe I'm missing something... The "vintage" effect is really cool though
@marcenat Thanks for playing the game! Each enemy has a money tag that you get for killing them, but as you kill them, you will also become wanted and the price of your life will increase as you progress. That's how I implemented the theme.
Weeeeeell I am very bad at your game XD I hardly killed El Mostacho (sexy name btw), I almost gave up but I killed him at least once haha I like the game, it is pretty good, maybe hard ? I know I do not have the best reaction time, but seeing all those enemies, I would have expected the first one to be a 3/0, or at least a 3/1. About the art, I'm not sure I like the post processing you made to be honest, it doesn't suit the pixel art style of your game in my opinion, I'd rather have some camera shaking, smoke effects than a big lens distortion and chromatic aberration. Personal opinion though

@saering Thanks for playing the game! I will probably lower down the difficulty in the upcoming update. Regarding graphics, it's actually representation of the old CRT TVs and monitors, as I was going for the retro feel.

I really liked it! Super cool graphics and sound, the CRT effect is great for the feel of the game. Like some of the other comments I found the game extremely difficult. I struggled to even beat the first guy. Maybe I just suck? Overall great job on the game!
Clever - beautiful - addictive. Well done. I guess that it could be a little more interesting to play with mouse and maybe a crosshair on screen - it's just an idea. I love this entry. The shader on camera which you used creates a good vide - like in the old western movies. Bravo ++
Nice game! It just feels a little off that in the story mode you have to shoot with a different key than in 2 player mode. Nice animations and feel to the game. It would be cool to see how much faster you were compared to the other player
