Love the addition of being able to run around for a short time after death

Interesting game! Got to a point where I needed a bomb but had used all of them already -- couldn't find a way to get past that, but it was pretty fun still!

Very cool! The cat heads (I think it's a cat hahaha) they were a great touch!

Really liked the base gameplay. I ended up running out of bombs to solve the map which was a bit frustrating but otherwise this was A+!

I like the 'mechanic' when the chicken dies, very creative. The controls are a bit hard to understand but I liked it overall.

@stefanie-leitch You can --produce bombs-- in --building-- near by the --lamp--, just drop --metal crap-- on red box with bomb image on front side :smile:

Nicely done! I really like your take on the theme and I love the pixel chicken!

I like the bot grabbing objects for the chicken. The feeling is different from the chicken grabbing items itself.

@norris-eldridge, thank you so much) Since all the images used in this project were painted by me yesterday :smile:, then as a gift - you, or any other person, can use it wherever (I would be glad to see this chicken in other projects :wink:)

@s-a-m, which means it's still good that no one knows that 3 more keys were used in the pre-release version.

Don't trust the pixel art, this game is the creepiest one on this Ludum Dare (thx, now I have a nightmare after chicken decapitation :cry: ). Joke aside the game is nice and smooth to play, can't you give much advice, it's just solid. Maybe by adding some guffy dialogs, you can actually have a very high score on humor (if you plan to develop further ofc). Overall, a good job.

Weeeha! Neat haha, took some time hauling the bags back and forth but hey, liked the asthetics!
Really wanted to use the heads to hold down the buttons haha.

This is one of the best overall games I've played so far. Liked it for clever level design and pretty art. But I wish the bombs were infinite, because I failed with them so I had to start all over a couple times. Also I sometimes get stuck while on the ladder.

I never knew I needed a chicken escape game but, I do! This was great, I love how the head sticks around afterwards when you die/respawn. Great job :)

I really enjoyed the art in this game. I could tell there was a lot of attention to detail when it came to the chicken. I was unable to complete the game due to running out of bombs, but I still enjoyed it. I think maybe some way to regenerate the bombs could help a lot when it comes to preventing soft locks.

The bgm gave me Metal Gear vibes it was interesting. The game have a lot of potential and I had a lot of fun while playing it. I didn't manage to get too far tho, because the controls kept bugging then I had to restart all the time and that just frustrated me too much. For times the robot would stop picking up stuff, some times the chicken would stop going up or down the stairs, sometimes K would stop interacting with stuff, then I would just get stuck. No idea what is causing this, I didn't manage to reproduce properly, it seems to be quite random, but most of the times after I died. Let me know if you get this fixed so I can play the game again :D

I recommend use Chrome or Fiefox for better compability.

@igoreshka It's hard to tell if is worth as a commercial game (good platformers are very hard to make) but if you like the idea you could give it a try.

Headless chicken run is a nice touch! Great game! :>

This was actually really fun, nice graphics and sound design. The mechanics were pretty unique too. I think I have found some debug controls though. I was using the arrow keys at one point and suddenly all of the pickupable objects were moving around the screen lol.

I really liked the chicken head falling off and you getting time to run around out of control before respawning. That was a great touch! Music and sound worked well. Graphics were nice although the default screen size is pretty small. Playing full screen worked fine though.

I also ran out of bombs and was unable to complete the map, which was a little disappointing.
