Pretty nice game and feeling! The music and art fits well, nice job with the pixel art. Aiming was a bit off in some directions, like it went above the cursor.
Pretty fun game, how many waves are there ? I stopped a bit before wave 25 There was one hurt sound that sounded way too loud to me though, i had to mute the game.
Fun game! The art looks great and I like the back story setup in the beginning. It would be nice to see a little variation in between the rounds, like a boss battle or something to make each round feel slightly different. Also the impact sound effect was louder than the music and it felt a bit jarring. All in all I really liked the charm of this game. Great work!
Really impressive that you were able to make a game that looks this good in just 48hrs! Music fits the mood of the game well and it's got plenty of humour. Game feels nice to play and is well polished!
@clemonades after wave 21 it gets way too easy, I could just stay in the corner and angle the fire just right so that I'd win while just pressing left click
An enjoyable, and surprisingly difficult game! I thought I had gotten the hang of it, until I got to round 8 and was overwhelmed by the zombies. I didn't expect it to suddenly become so hard, but it was a fun experience getting caught totally off guard and losing due to my own underestimation of the level of difficulty.
The game's artwork is great, you really nailed some of the pixel art, Mullet Man's design being the most appealing to me. The character animations are also fluent and work really well. The game itself runs smoothly and the controls work nicely, including the projectile firing. Overall it was absolutely fun, and you definitely stuck to the theme of starting with nothing! It didn't take too long to get fully clothed, however, but the heart reward system proceeding the clothing one works well to compensate for that (Unless there were other rewards I simply didn't get to!). There was some repetition involved, but I feel really dense even commenting on that given this is a game jam. The game was actually genuinely fun at times, especially when trying to dodge around the hordes of zombies that eventually surrounded me.
The only real bug I ran into was that I wasn't able to purchase an item for 30$ (during the corresponding round) despite having enough to do so. I also accidentally clicked outside the game screen while moving, causing Mullet Man to indefinitely run to the right. Other than that everything worked perfectly, as far as I could tell. Nice job!
Cool game with nice graphics. Just a little bit slow paced in my opinion. I didn't have to move whatsoever apart from buying items. And as others have mentioned, the hit sound seems to be incorrect. Overall, great job on the game!
Nice game! The difficulty really ramps up but its super funny! The hit sound whjen you shoot a zombie is so loud though X,D. I'd also add some different types of zombies and only be allowed one upgrade at a time to make it more interesting! Well done :)
Good fun game! Lasted until round eleven. At that point my mullet was simply streaming out some beautiful particle effect stream. With some polish could be a fun little mobile title!
Is it possible to be strong enough to kill zombies with one shot? I always upgraded damage and yet they trampled me on day 8 because two shots was too slow to lower their numbers lol
I just stood in the corner like I was back in back playing "everybodys it." Not a lot of variety or challenge, but the vibe was fun, and the sprites were cool. Shooting from your hair felt right.
Mullets are the best weapon I can think of, so this game makes sense. The difficulty ramps up pretty hard at round 7 but other than that it's a pretty relaxed shooter. Love the polish!
Super fun and simple, greate mulet, great music, a really cool entry. It may need some difficulty tweaking, maybe more holes as it gets harder. I found that the best strategy was often to stay in the most distant point from all three holes and shoot from there. If the wholes move or new ones appear then it would be harder to just stay still and shoot. Great job!
I like the graphics. The power-up system was nice, seemed to have a bit of risk-vs-rewards to it. I didn't figure out what buying clothes does, if anything, I wondered if it was just suppose to take money that would've been better used on powerups? Anyway, fun little game!
Nice amount of polish, the entry feels very solid and I specially like the hit effect that you made. The game also has one of the best titles in this Ludum Dare :smile:
The design is spot on, I love your pixelanimation! The title alone is worth gold :smile: Gameplay is smooth and plays well. For me there was a problem with the sound for hitting enemies - it made my speakers scream in agony for a second, so I had to mute the game. Nevertheless, really solid entry!

A would the possibility for the character to stay naked thought. :smiling_imp:
At first felt kind of slow but then I wanted to slow down a bit, so good balance there.
The enemies only make damage once, so it kind of gives you a moment.
I couldnt hear any music?
Anyway, fun little game!
I found the game a bit lacking, I was looking for more but it didn't seem to have it. Just a bit more variety in enemies, environment, something.
