Help Droog, a communist working class robot, gain the power of FREEDOM.EXE in this battle to survive. Droog is a creative action-packed shoot-em' up experience where the player collects there own controls as the attempt to survive against a hoard of evil communist robots! Start off with nothing but your monitor head and end up as a killing-machine!

Gameplay

Start the game as a robot head hopping around using SPACE as you avoid enemies collecting your controls. You're going to need a MOUSE in order to aim and shoot in the game.

Controls

Mouse - Look/Face/Direction

Space - Dash/Hop

WASD - Move

LMB/RMB - Shoot

Scroll - Cycle Through Guns

I liked the control scheme, having to dash around at the start. My spacebar probably didn't appreciate it very much though.

The ability to actually lose your abilities as a penalty for getting hit was really cool. The music was nice and it played really well. I was able to just wander around all over the place though, through walls and the like.

A very interesting control scheme. At the beginning it was quite challenging to move around with hopping. I didn't find myself utilizing the movement keys until I got all of them. The controls are solid. At some point I lost my gun, looked for a new one but I didn't find anything to fight with and lost. Same movement mechanic might work really well in a slower paced game.

Really solid entry, the aesthetics and music work really well.
I liked the unique controls though they are a bit odd to use, only 4 directions to jump to when the pointing is on all cardinal directions. Is kinda weird but doesn't feel too clunky.
The enemy attacking patterns and behavior were kinda odd to comprehend with the control scheme though and it was making it a bit messy.

But the core of the game is really awesome with very minor bugs and feels really great overall too!

The game is pretty cool !
One way to improve your pixel is too find a balance with color (like using a palette , or limitate to a a number for sort of color). And for bullets , maybe schearch to create some effect instead to draw a real bullet.
Last advice : give the score at the end of the game (we got the time to read in the corner but it's better :) ).
Well done ! And the music was very nice !

I was a bit confused by the controls, took me a while to figure it out. And the game is pretty tough for my skills but I still like it - neat graphics and fun to mess around with ;)

It's a fun and calming game that my space bar does not find calming. Definitely loved the fast-paced action, and the styling and music fit well together. I did learn quickly that it is very difficult to hop and shoot at the same time though.

In this game you just don't start with nothing, you end with nothing too))
Graphics are really good and moving around is sometimes difficult in the beginning, but very challenging.
