Nice game. It probably needs one additional mecanic to make it interesting. The levels felt the same.

VERY clever that when placing a light it also blocks your path! I really dig that mechanic!

Reminded me of my early days of Pokemon. As a kid I didn't know how to speak English so I never got the information that there was a move that I could teach a Pokemon to shed light into the dark cave. So I just bumped into every single wall until I finally reach the end every single time I had to go through there. I enjoyed the game, nice mechanic not seen that often. I manage to finish it without using any lights though, it was fun.

Very cool! I actually made it to level 5 without placing a light, just couldn't figure that last one out without help haha. As a suggestion, when you hear the music fade out and start back up it's a bit jarring, I think it would be much better to have it constantly loop.

@ryu Thanks for the feedback! I initially had a small loop of the music I created but it had a problem looping and there was a small delay in between the loops. I didnt really have time to fix it so I just made a longer version of the song and faded.....I agree with you though and appreciate the feedback.

Interesting game! I found the lights to be pretty unhelpful, and found more fun just trying to memorize the maps blind. Cool maze game!

The idea is super fun and I really like the music. The levels is okay, but I would have liked some more difficult levels. Overall a pretty good jam game.

Maybe add some danger, e.g. mines or monsters!

Pretty good idea, and very clever use of the light-as-blocker to balance the reward it gives. Nice touch with the background music and sfx, missing on a lot of entries unfortunately.

Nice idea. But it sometimes leads to repeated button presses(right and up or left and down). But over all and nice game to think and pass time.

This was a neat little puzzle game! I realized I could beat each level by placing a bunch of lights and then restarting to find the path, but I decided to challenge myself and play strategically :sunglasses: My strategy was to move until I got blocked and then place a light on the spot that blocked me and work my way around the board. All in all, a great first jam entry! :smile:

That was something. It was a very interesting idea. Fun puzzle game overall.
