This is our second ld jam and this game is our first 2d platform.
You start with nothing, literally nothing, just you in the middle of the void. You'll need to gather as many bubbles as you can because everytime you catch one of this you unlock a new feature for the game: jump, health bar, enemies, score, time, new areas...
#### Controls: - WASD: for movement - Left click: to fire a fireball (if you get the bubble that activates that) - Space: to jump

We couldn't create the sound effects so we got it from the asset store.

Great little platformer! Love the start, and the idea of finding abilities was well implemented. Found the spawning of the evil bugs a little frustrating. They'd often end up on my head.
This is a pretty cool concept well executed. The bugs seemed pretty dumb but also quite creepy with the noises. The design and artwork seems really well put together.
Nice job! The level was setup really well and the bugs creeped me out. It would have been nice to aim the trajectory of the fireball. I kept overshooting the bugs, but that could also mean that I suck lol.
I dig the graphics. Too bad some ground block were cut so vertically, when others had nice alpha roundness. I accidentally built myself into the wall with a big rock, so I couldn't get out.
Would have loved some music, and maybe some info of what you get when you take the bubbles.
I really like your game!! Good job everybody! Even though you weren't able to make the sounds, I like the sounds you guys chose. I did get stuck on a tree, though :sweat_smile:

Nice game, the amount of insects was increasing at alarming rate though and I couldnt find other building blocks than rocks and tree_2h. I liked the intro and the graphics are very nice.
