Heroes for Hire!

Intro

Heroes for hire is a dungeon crawler for those of us without an adventuring bone in our bodies.

Hire your team of worthy adventurers and dive into the dungeon with them, have them do all the fighting and hard work whilst you do the money making and gather that sweet sweet gold!

How to play

The tutorial in-game explains it fairly well, but in the inn you can hire your team of heroes then jump into the dungeon.
There you can use left click to move your character. They will automatically gather from the gold deposits whilst your team of heroes fight the enemies off.

The Jam

As far as game jams go, this is the most ambitious I've been by far. The idea is something that some friends and I have been toying with for a few weeks and the theme fits pretty well to it so figured I'd give it a go.

There's two main areas it really needs work in due to lack of time:
* More variety (enemies, abilities, dungeon segments)
* More management

The more management part is what I really wanted in here, but getting the dungeon mechanics in place took up most of my time. I had plans for upgrading the inn, an actual progression of heroes you can find, and ways of managing them a lot more closely in the dungeon. (Formations etc.)

But overall, pretty happy with how it went, given how much time I had to spend on other things!!
