This was a 2-person project for the Ludum Dare 45 Jam - Theme: Start with nothing.
This is a puzzle game where you start with an empty room and you place furniture to earn points and unlock more furniture.
You earn 1 point for each piece of furniture that is placed on the left grid. The points for that furniture piece are multiplied by 1 extra point for each side that is adjacent to a matching colour. If you place furniture on the side with the stripes then you are deducted 1 point.
Additional furniture will be unlocked based on the number of points you have collected.
There is no explicit end state but the goal is to unlock all of the furniture.
Controls:
- Mouse
- Click on a grid square on the right to select a piece of furniture. You can only select unlocked furniture
- With furniture selected, click on a grid square on the left to place the selected furniture.
- With furniture selected, click the rotate button at the top of the screen to rotate the selected furniture.
- Esc: exit
