Hi this is a duplicate accidentally made however the link has been corrected to the actual game posted however please leave any comments or feedback on the other page thank you ELBI & Xostu
The physics seems a bit 'floaty', but the character IS wearing a cape, so...
I really like the art! It has a great vibe: very surreal/otherworldly. The 'goomba stomp' was extremely satisfying, in large part I think due to the sound. Loved the "nothingness" mechanic, and going to -1. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the game. Kept dying due to VERY narrow jump/landing windows. I ended up rage-quitting after about fifteen or so attempts.
Cool game! Enjoyed the atmosphere a lot (graphics & music). Check out our game and let us know what you think. Check our Instagram @seabirdentertaiment for weekly content about game dev, digital art, sound fx and more. Visit our webpage www.seabirdentertainment.com
All in all a nice game, the art is fairly cool and well done. The audio has a couple of issues and depth is a bit messy on some places. But nothing we did not mess up as well.
having a walk cycle for the main character would have gone a long way, but i really like the vibe of the level and game in general. there were some points where I couldnt pick up statues but didn't understand why. was I supposed to avoid them? some in game text explaining the goal might have helped too.
Really a good game ! The music is not what I prefer but it's ok, it is cute. I love the idea of "hidden rooms", it surprised me when I fell on it ! :D Really cool game, I had a good time on it.
A very well polished game for something made in just 48 hours! Has a certain mood to it due to the nice art style and music. The jump mechanic seems a bit too powerful - feels as though you can jump up half the level!
The visuals were engaging but mechanics would benefit from some more polish. I think if you were able to "smooth" out a lot of the mechanics the game would play more fluidly. For example the jumping felt a little herky jerky and the trigger for death was very abrupt. Having said that you obviously have built the foundation for a cool project so good work!
I really like the art style, the particle effects, and the hidden room. XD
