Red has no money. But he is in a plain where people throw regularly scraps of metal and trash. Gather thoses thrown ressources to sell them and buy yourself more and more scraps and trash !
The game revolve around a simple loop of -> get metals -> sell metals -> buy things to be faster/have more metals -> sell metals again
There is actually no win condition, as I... well... lacked of time. But eh, this time I made sound and even (a) music !
So... as it it has actually no end but I hope you'll enjoy it anyway ;)
Don't hesitate to comment on the game, wether you liked it... or not :/ But it was an interessing one to do... Even if it's absolutely not the kind of game I was planning to do... For full disclosure, the project was called NeedToFight at first, and well... the figthing went away... and the looting part stayed in.
Anyways, Next days will probably revolve arount playing the other jam's games and continuing #devtober !
Great gameplay and here are minute details in this game that we could easily ignore. It requires a dedicated player to enjoy this game. But it starts really slow and right click would be nice.
@alphaden Thank you for your time, sorry if you find it to slow. Drops of metal are through a random dice role with each metal having about the same % of chance to appear so yeah, it probably means that I need to think a bit more about the game progression and pricing ^^.
I really like this one. Im dont know if understand the build mechanics but i love run around and ghether garbagen and grow my skills and build more structures ehehhehehe
Oh, man... there's something I really liked about that game. Is it the weird graphics ? The purity of the concept ? These salad fingers vibes ? Dunno, but nice job. It's better than most of games for sure.
@thomas-olsson thank you (^^_) (I didn't know what Salad finger was. Thank you for the ref, that definitively special :p)
@chaosround I understand the need for tuto ^^. As I am pretty lazy, I tend to try to hide that lack of tutorial by triyng to be as intuitive as possible, but I know that's a weak excuse :p (especially that that 'intuition' really depends of what kind of game you played before)
@goupixm :D glad you like it and thank you for sharing that screenshot :)) (I don't think I went higher than 10k while testing myself o_o. Well, I kept spending too. But I can also see 0/46 in inventory space, wich is a lot ^^). I'm honestly very happy that there are people enjoying playing my game :)
It's so funny! It's one of those dangerous games you can expend too much time playing without noticing haha. I also kind of like the art style, just feel like the background is a bit too simple, I think that the aesthetic could improve a lot with some little details, maybe grass instead of the green color? Good job and nice entry! :)
@yomissmar hey :cat: ! Thank you :) I admit that the backgound is just a plain uniform green screen. Adding variation (like patch of grass or dirt) would help a lot indeed  .
@ljfmx Thanks :) I initially had some plans about adding events (as taxes for littering or trash tempest) but for some reasons (mostly time) I had to cut them out. Thanks again for playing ;)
A fun time waster, which is good in my opinion :D It'd be nice to have a bit less trash, but it's fun either way. Spent more time on it than I thought I would
@twinghosts Thanks :p. And yeah, it's more or less designed as a time waster \(^^|. (I think at some point I wanted it to be something like a clicker game but I think those are too passive  ).
@coffeedrinkers Thank you for playing :) ( but yup, too much problems around.)
A bit confused about what some of the buildings did, but had fun playing it, it was surprisingly addictive. The art is uneven, but some of it really good.

It's really fun and we don't stop playing.
The music is nice too, discreet but present! Good job :D
@jakemchugh1 thanks for playing :)
