It is not easy to create a working and balanced idle clicker and You did a really nice job here! I must say that I am little disappointed that 'Odd Socks' were not the ultimate top that can be purchased :P But let's get serious, I really like the sock theme! Your socks, rocks! Cheers mate

Socks Feedback:

- Could not find any socks? I looked everywhere!
- Now with more clicking!
- I found that the height of the game window was much to small for my monitor
- Sound FX were on point!
- Later, I found no bugs - only socks
- 16/16 out of a possible 16 16s x 2.

Pretty good little clicker game that could certainly be expanded if you felt like it! Cotton socks were pretty OP, once I got those upgraded things started flying by. Good job!

Idle clicker + nice warm socks -- what's not to love! For some reason Sfx did not work on my Mac.

It's an idle game. It does what it is supposed to do

This game is very fun !
- Graphics are 'easy' but get tje job done well, I love them!
- Gameplay is satisfying & original (maybe a a bit too fast to 'finish' it, but already very good for a LD)
- Maybe it's a bug, but on windows I had no sounds, necessary if you want to publish it (which I recommend you, if you add some content)
- I'm now covered of socks tho
(little thing I found, went scrolling down using mouseweel, I needed to scroll to Constantinople to get to those fancy nanotech socks, but it's an ok fix dw)

Overall, very cute & entertaining game, a very nice job for a solo dev ( an choosing a clicker is good for LD cuz you can add content if you have enough time left), keep going like that. I hope for you, you can upgrade it & publish it as a mobile game :)

Cool Clicker, but Cotton Socks too Op and every next sock give so minor money, and I exited game but music is still playing!!! :D

P.S. - I just played other games, and forgot to exit it, and I thought that this music is from your game :D

Glad you enjoyed it. I have a whole list of things I wanted to add, so will definitely get those sorted and release to iOS and Android.
Oh, and you can click and drag the shop and factory views - I didn't actually know the mouse wheel would/did work with it!

@rroni Yeah... defo needs some balance. There isn't any audio. I had planned to, but I only realised I had forgotten at about 10pm on Monday. The thought of trying to get anything half decent sorted in time made my brain hurt!

damn this sock idle game was nice, I love the atmosphere and even if it needs a lil balancing, I really want to play more of it, actually I'm still playing

Yup, it's an idle game. The graphics look clean. Didn't take a week to get highest tier socks, so it's probably lacking in balance :p

A socks factory is a cute take on the theme. Simple and clear, well done!

PS: My Cotten socks factory is working at such capacity the progress bar is flashing so fast it could cause seizures :smiley: :sweat_smile:

The graphics are beautiful, they are so clean and simple, I love the vector graphics style you went with. The game seems nicely balanced as well, I like that it doesn't take years to get to the final one like most idle games. :smile:

The art is so clean and perfect. As said by others, it needs some more balancing but otherwise great job! Also, username checks out.

I will be honest, I do not like clicker games. However, you did a great job on this one and I bet fans of the genre will be pleased! Graphics are nice and create a very pleasant look and feel to the game, cozy - like a pair of good socks. Some audio would indeed be nice and add to the atmosphere.

I really like playing/making this kind of clicker/idle/management games. For me the idea for this game is pretty good, and the games visual style is really good.

I think this game needs some re-balance. For me the issue is that the first 5-10 minutes you have a lot to do, after this there is not much more too do, and after 20-30 minutes it is nearly impossible to do anything. I would also have liked some kind of goal in this game.

But overall is this a pretty good jam game. Well done.

Clicker with the production of socks? This is genius! Everything looks very cute and beautiful. Screen resolutions, I guess, for mobile?

@ithildin Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, those cottons socks do pretty well. The full game (just about finished developing), is really nicely balanced. Looking to release it to iOS, then Android. It's been a really fun, but also tiring, experience!

Really enjoyed this LDJam. So the project has continued development and it is almost a fully fledged game! Just going into alpha testing before it gets released on iOS TestFlight. Fun times :smile:
