tl;dr Find the golden key, possess it and take it to the locked golden door while evading Gargoyles.
Story
You are a ghost, and you have enough of residing within your tiny empty room with nothing. You decide to explore the mansion for an escape. According to an ancient legend there is a golden key which will open the golden door of the mansion. That is your only way out because the old magically enforced outer walls are impenetrable, even for a ghost like you. But beware of the Gargoyles since they are determined to keep you inside forever. Luckily you can hide inside old golden paintings which will render you completely invisible to them.
Controls - Move -> WASD keys or arrow keys - Rotate -> Hold right mouse button or ‘R’ ‘F’ Keys - Zoom -> Use scroll wheel or ‘period’ and ‘comma’ keys - E to possess and release the golden key, or hide inside a golden painting
I have to say so far this is one of the best games I tried. Simple concept but fun to play, nice graphics and fitting music. Good job to the team. Question: Are the rooms pre-defined and randomly placed in pre-defined spots ?
I actually thought this game was very fun even though I couldn't even get past the first round since I could never get the key to the door. I think despite some minor balancing issues this game is very challenging in the right way. You should check out our game as well, its actually surprisingly similar to yours.
@yaroslav-kravtsov Yes, that's the challenge but you can leave the key by pressing 'E' againt to run from the Gargoyles and later return to the key :smiley:
Interesting gameplay but it could be nice if the player could sometimes move a little faster, maybe with some stamina or something like that, so there was a possibilty to escape from the gargoyles. Anyway, good job!
Game looks very nice, the mood's great and flying around with the ghost is fun when you go through everything. There could be some kind of a hint or indicator or a "treasure map" to the key. Now I'm just kinda flying around until I get lucky. And I didn't :D Still, a very nice game and the visuals are nice and the "ghosting" is fun! And the fog of war fits the game nicely.
I do like the concept and the graphics look amazing for a weekend game.
