Trade up at the Bizarre Bazaar! You’ll start with nothing - pick something off the ground and trade it up with the merchants around by clicking, or pressing space, on the item they offer. Don’t get greedy! Keep trading though, and you’ll make it to the moon!
I did this on a bachelor party once, where you had to trade items with strangers to get a present in the end... That's a simple and fun game :D I love it!
Haha, great game XD I didn't get the greed mechanic, though... I suppose when I trade for something too valuable I lose a life? Progressing in the game felt really fun :)
I really like this game, the art is really good and the sounds are nice. I like the amounts of humor this game has in the items. I also really dig the nice effects you put in the text and animations.
To me personally the "Greed Chance" value was not really clear as the value showed lower as the chance was higher? Also the game seems to ramp up pritty quikly in terms of money and sometimes it shows duplicates, witch is quite weird.
Also you have the same code idea as we had, only we were only with 2 so it looks a little bit less polished :) Check it out if you like :smile:
I really like the concept and the art is really good! I enjoyed seeing all of the “Bizzarre” items that came up for sale, the music also fit reall nicely as well as the sound effects for if you made a profit. This overall is a really good jam entry!
Very nice presentation. The art is charming and the music and sounds worked well. I was not sure how to judge the different items' values so I just kept trading randomly though :joy:
This game is a joy to the senses. The synergy between sound, art and gameplay come together for an exquisite experience. I give it five bags of popcorn.
The graphics are super nicely drawn, the game is simple to play and thus quite relaxing. I sadly had to trade away my jar of dirt, but I guess it was worth it!
adorable characters and lovely graphics. The mechanic has a lot of potential and it’s very fun to guess the price of things. The background feels a little empty, maybe add some elements with a little brighter colours to get a better sense of a busy colourful market. Maybe add an inventory system (say having up to 3 items in person) it could add to the complexity. Theme-wise it's unclear why being greedy is a negative thing, it's a market and I’m trading goods that are offered to me. Maybe calling it reputation instead would fit better.

Cute game! I like the audio, the graphics and the gameplay, although I didn't quite understand why I couldn't be too greedy, or when I exactly was being too greedy. :wink: I liked that there are so many interesting items! After a while I learned the price of some items and I got to the moon! :smile:
A very minor detail: I noticed that the player character is drawn on top of the foreground leafs (which you only see if you walk to one of the sides). Also, after winning, if you give up to give it another go, the nice music is very soft!
