The legend of Bit is an epic adventure where you start with nothing .... and most likely die as a nothing or you may just be able to defeat the legendary boss and save the kingdom.
USE WASD or arrow keys to control the character. Use a mouse to aim the sword and stab with left mouse button.
The game and was made in 15 hours and most stuff was made by me, not the fancy music :o)
PS The game is created to run at 1920x1080 16:9 aspect ratio, if you run it at another resolution it will probably flip out.
The art style of this game is really good, the enemy following AI was also really good, I would love to see this game developed into a full commercial game! Overall, this is a very fun jam entry!
Very funny sound effects :laughing: I was a monster at this game :imp: It would have been nice with a restart button because I got stuck between a wall and a bunny when attacked by a skeleton, also moving the camera with the player would have made the aiming easier :crossed_swords:

Congratulations on making this game! Interesting graphic cohesiveness. Unfortunate you didn't want to be noted on the audio, because I enjoyed it. And I didnt kill the rabbits. I swear.

I'm such a monster, and the game was sure to tell me so ;) Nice little piece, I would have liked to have the sword swivel around a bit better, stabby the skellys when they're on my right side turned out to be quite a suicidal endeavor :smile: Cheerz!
Haha well now you know you are a monster for sure @sawtan . Yeah the stab bit could be very much improved with a more arch hit, maybe that will come in future updates. Thanks for playing it!
@pfeyffer moooohahhaaha! With all the rabbit killers out there I should have added a bonus to the ending, like to rabbits rush you with swords for payback!

Thanks @maxymax and you are correct, there is a bug in the way that the mouse aim was implemented, it originates from the weapon base and not the character which causes it to be slightly off but I discovered after the submission and it's not a major bug so I didn't fix it.
Nice game want it a bit longer but jam so I understand ;) Just a little thing, when I understand that if I keep enemies under me or at my left they can touch me because I have bigger range since every one if right handed, it work as well with the boss.
Thanks for the feedback @akusan and playing the game, I'll see in the future how this can be improved. I did keep working on it and have a little bit different setup now which I'll publish once the jam is over and judged.

That is indeed correct, you will have a longer range if you play that way. So preferably you want your enemies on the left side, it was a little secret but since you figured it out I can just confirm it. So you need to play a little smart also to really make the most of it. I did have a plan to have skeletons with 2 swords but I didn't have time for it.
I did it, i saved the world! haha really enjoyed this one, all the mechanics are really fluid... nope i dont have anything too complain about.. except, haha i wish you gave the tree textures som more love haha...

I am extremely impressed with the amount of polish! The AI is really well done, following between rooms, makes it so you never get a break! Such a good entry!

I saved the world! Good little game! I especially liked the mood with the simple graphics. Since the sword is glued to the left side of the character, he has a better range if you hit an ennemy that is to your left. Good work!
