Story: A little girl hands slipted while holding onto a shiny red balloon. You must now play as the balloon to guide into through an unnaturally amount of birds in the sky. Have long can you last.
Gameplay: Your mouse cursor holds onto the string of the balloon. You must drag the balloon around to avoid birds flying in the sky. If the body of the balloon touches a bird, it will pop and it's game over from there. The balloon will natutally try and float upwards. There is heavy wind, indicated by the top left corner. The text tells you how fast the wind is, and how much it will influence the balloon. The arrow tells you the direction of the wind, and the direction the ballon is influenced.

Very fun, difficult, and intuitive! The art is great, and the sounds are awesome! Though the game is too difficult; the good art, intuitiveness, and beauty make up for the difficulty level. Good job, and keep it up!
I'm still humming the tune.. Takes a simple concept and adds some nice twists. You learn early on to stay away from clouds because they mask birds. The wind change is a neat idea too but that part feels a little more lucky. Overall very cool game.
@guille Thanks for the feedback, Yeah, I did find the game also a bit difficult while testing it was really hard find the right balance, so I just preferred having the game be really hard than really easy.
@n8 I'm glad to hard that you like the music, it's one of my weaker parts of game dev. The clouds hiding the bird was actually bug I find after the game was posted but was too lazy fix it, so I'm happy that you thought it was a fun feature instead :).
A simple game idea well executed. I made it 29.0 seconds! Didn't realize the wind shift factor until playing a couple games. Nice music and sfx match the art style well.
In its current state it is really fun and well done! If there was anything I would add it would be something like pollen/flowers/leaves in the background flowing in the direction of the wind and give a second of a heads up when the winds are about to change. I died a few times when the sudden shift of the wind caused my balloon to fly directly into a bird!
@agentnick That's really smart, I don't know why I didn't think of adding such a feature too make indicating the wind easier. Thank you for the feedback
A well made and fun little game. The music and visuals is good, and it fits the game idea. The difficult level is a bit high already from the beginning of the game. Overall is this a good compo game. Well done.
Nice take on the theme. The game is really simple, but the collision box is way too precise... And I don't think a bird would pop my balloon if it just grazed it with its wing a bit.
But, I liked the mechanics of dragging the balloon.
It'd be great if you were able to actually draw lines between the parts so that it doesn't look as if the rope is broken into pieces, but I know it's hard to fit everything in this small time frame.
Some of the birds are too fast and just appear out of nowhere and the wind changes too suddenly.
Other than that, well done and keep up the good work.
Really nice concept and the physics feels very natural and "fair". It would be nice to have the wind gradually change instead of suddenly changing out of nowhere.
The rope physics on the balloon string was a nice unnexpected surprise. Really makes the game feel thought out and fair, even though its quite difficult. Nice entry overall :)

Changing wind direction is a nice twist.
