Make sure to stay in the sunbeam as often as you can, and pick up water to keep your gun healthy. if you don't it'll explode, and you'll die. that's probably bad.
Controls: WASD for movement Mouse aims Left mouse button shoots. (be aware shooting the gun uses water too :) )
Nice game! I like the mix of cartoon and realism with the foreground and background. The shooting doesn't feel sluggish and switching between camping in the light and running out for water is a fun balancing act.
Great job making the game change as you survive longer! It was easy enough at first when I was learning the rules and then became more challenging and rewarding - the song was also a light of fun. Great job
Pretty good! for such a simple game there are mechanics that are well thought out that spice things up during its runtime. For example, the fact that the sunbeam moves is such a simple touch yet big enough to keep things interesting.
Simple game, but so many enjoyable details. There is something very fun about both the graphics and sound in this game. Absolutely love the enemies with headbands carrying water bottles :D I hope you return to this "world" in some future entry!
Can't say I am a fan of the art style mixing photos and cartoon characters, as well as using way too many colors and particle effects... but the gameplay, its core loop, and its progression are very interesting IMO. A good balance of resource management and action. Well done :)
Gotta say this was very well executed, looked and sounded great. Quite like the sprite for the main character. It starts off feeling pretty simple, but gets kinda chaotic pretty quick, well done!
It took me a while to realize I could move the character herself, but that could just be my own incompetence. She did get harder to move as the game progressed. Lots of bugs and bullets.
The swinging light was really cool! Having to stay in the light definitely was an interesting twist. It was a bit up in the air whether or not a fly carrying water would appear though, so a few times I died because I never got any water pickups. That being said, the design of the fly carrying the water was def cute. The main character's design reminds me a bit of Rayman Legends.

I do enjoy myself a good belt to wear. And that is certainly a belt. I also, on a related note, played and rated your game, having enjoyed it, and would appreciate myself a good reciprocation. And such.
I love the art on the main character for this, and I wish you would have had the time to animate the flies. The game itself feels well balanced and controls nicely. Some more enemy variety and an end goal would have been a nice addition. Either way this is a cool and solid jam entry! Well done!
